The first round of a federal legal battle over a Ten Commandments display in the Ticonderoga County Courthouse was lost Thursday. The plaintiff, John O’Kelly, who has no “frequent, direct contact with the display and therefore had suffered no specific injury.”

A six-year-old boy was bit in the neck and ear by a mixed Chow (belonging to Gordy Jamison). This is the second offense for the dog which was quarantined for ten days after a leash law violation last year.
