CBS ATLANTA

I like the initial layout of the CBS Atlanta website however one thing caught my attention right off the bat. If you place a glowing yellow new tab next to each article hyperlink explaining how it is new, doesn't it lose its effectiveness? Anything on the front page is going to be new updated headlines. There shouldn't be old news on the front page. The menu is easy to use and user friendly. Pic/Vid section is very nice, with lots of material relating to the stories. I am a huge fan of the weather being at the top bar with the temperature and the (at this time) partly cloudy label. Many sites send you to the weather page before you can find what you're looking for. Overall I really like the layout, just all those NEW markers seem a bit unneeded.
